This is another recipe that I found in an old family recipe book from the 1980’s. I originally didn’t have the desire to keep this recipe, the name threw me off a bit. But my husband thought it sounded good and wanted to try it out. I was a little worried about how it would turn out with the noodles and meat mixture. I did not have a vision on how the casserole would turn out. I was happily surprised by this recipe. Not only is it simple and easy, it is also quite delicious. The egg noodles provide a soft texture while the meat mixture with cheese gives it a creamy and delicious flavor. If you have any reservations about this dish, don’t!
