A couple of years ago I had the opportunity to look through all of my grandma Joyce’s recipes and compile a cookbook for the family. For some reason the connection through food allowed me to understand who she was more and it was an experience that I will forever cherish. This recipe is one that I discovered along the way and after being gifted some fresh peaches from a nearby farm, I decided to give it a try.

I believe any season is a good season for cobbler! It honestly is not my most perfect recipe but it still came out pretty great! This recipe may need some tweaks to be perfect but still has great flavor. For a first time attempt, not too shabby! Some advice moving forward would include paying attention to how wet the peaches are. The more moist they are, the longer the bake time.
