When I was working as a nanny in Arizona, I would cook the family dinner twice a week. The biggest struggle of cooking for them is figuring out meals that their kids will willfully eat. It’s safe to say they tend to be rather picky. I knew that a) they loved tator tots b) they loved bacon and c) most of them liked ranch. This meal is such a quick and easy meal plus the kids LOVED it! I mean who wouldn’t with it having tater tots, chicken, cheese and bacon?
My husband likes the traditional tater tot casserole and would ask for it when we first married. For me personally, I did not like the texture and sauce. So when I brought this one home, it felt like a good compromise. My husband is also a huge fan of this meal, but I mean he is a kid himself.
