My in-laws came to Florida this past summer and we had the opportunity to stay with them in South Florida for a week. We absolutely loved being close to the beach and exploring new places with them. One of my personal jobs on this trip was to take care of the food (shocker right? lol). This being said, whenever we wanted to go out to eat in a place we didn’t have time to research, I was the go to person looking into restaurant reviews and finding spots with delicious food.
One of the places we went to when visiting Miami was called Havana Harry’s near downtown. This is the cutest and extremely authetic cuban restaurant. The empanadas were some of the very best we have ever had! The entree that Porter and I chose to share was called “Harry’s Chicken”. This dish wasn’t too new and exciting but had some of our favorite elements: guacamole, sour cream, cheese, and chicken so we decided to give it a shot. It is safe to say we LOVED it because as soon as we got home I made this replica recipe. It is simple but yet a bite that packs so much flavor!
