This recipe was discovered when I had the opportunity to go through some of my Grandma West’s old recipes. This experience gave me the opportunity to grow closer to my grandma and understand more about her. Isn’t it crazy how food has the power to connect people? With her apple crisp recipe in hand, I tweaked it a little bit by adding in the pecan praline granola. This addition gives the apple crisp an additional crunch and burst of flavor. I love the pecan praline granola from Trader Joe’s but any brand would work great! This is a perfect fall dessert and for my pecan loving husband, the BEST apple crisp he has ever had.
